Stick It Down Guest Designer

Happy Friday, everyone!  I'm here today to share my card as Guest Designer at Stick It Down!  Just as a refresher, here's this month's card sketch:

Here's my take on the sketch:

I really love the way my card came out!  I had a new stamp and die set from The {Stamps} of Life that I hadn't had the chance to use yet, so I was SUPER excited to use it!  I colored each layer of the rainbow then used Stickles on those layers and on the clouds for some extra pop.

Thanks to the ladies at Stick It Down for having me back as a Guest Designer!  I had a great time working with this sketch!

It's time to get schooled!  The project I have for you today is sort-of teacher related.  I found this set of school-themed scrapbook papers

and knew they would be perfect to use for school pictures of my boys!  I bought multiple sets of these (since they're double sided), so I could use one side for the picture and the other side to record the year, school, and teacher.

Now let's salute this great country!

My youngest son loves it when I make things for him, so I decided to crosstitch a shirt for him that he could wear on the 4th of July.

The pattern is in a book of Looney Tunes holiday crosstitch patterns that I bought many, many years ago!  I purchased a kids white t-shirt at Wal-Mart then pinned a piece of waste canvas in the center of the shirt before I started.  I normally use some interfacing on the back of the design, but I decided not to this time.  He loved his shirt and was super excited to wear it on the 4th!

Now kindly hop on over to Sandy!

All hands on deck!  Thar she blows!!

Since I have two boys, there's always lots of boy stuff going on around my house and with their friends.  I like to have some boy-themed cards in my stash just in case I need one for a birthday party or other occasion.  I decided to make this card a generic one, so it could be used for any occasion I might need it for.

The sentiment and gold coin are both heat embossed, and I used iCraft dimensional squares on the back of the gold coin to pop it up from the card.  The sentiment and gold coin are both from a pirate-themed clear stamp set that I've had for many years; unfortunately, I disposed of the packaging several years ago and don't remember the company it's from.  If anyone recognizes it, please let me know!

Walking the plank next is ANGELA!

My project today is a layout about the rose garden I had in one of my first homes.  I LOVED those roses!  I had fifteen rose bushes, and each one was a different color.  When they were all blooming at the same time, they were GORGEOUS!  I wish I had room to have another rose garden that big.

Up next is the wonderful Holli!  Here's our amazing lineup in case you get lost:
